Guest Information

We are pleased to welcome you to the Club and community, where our members gather to create lasting friendships and memories. The information below is meant to assist in preparing for your time spent at The Reserve as the invited guest of a member. Should you have any questions, please contact the Club at 760-674-2274 or your member host.

Members and their guests shall dress in a tasteful fashion befitting the beautiful surroundings and atmosphere of The Reserve Club. It is the responsibility of each Member to adhere to the dress requirements, and to ensure that their family members and invited guests do as well.

Unacceptable Attire

Clothing must be in good repair, not excessively worn or faded and be free of holes, rips, patches, frays and bleach stains. Clothing featuring slogans or printed materials not related to the manufacturer is not permitted.

General and Clubhouse Attire

Denim attire is permitted on Club premises at all times (except for golf and tennis, and unless otherwise specified for a party or event), providing it is tasteful and in acceptable country club condition, absent of tears or rips. Denim is not allowed at dinner in the Governor's Room. Shirts and shoes are required on the premises of the Club, except for the swimming pool area. Spikeless golf shoes are required. Rubber flip flops are not permitted in the Clubhouse. Locker Rooms must be used for changing clothes and shoes. Sleeveless tops with thin shoulder straps and short shorts are only allowed in the Fitness Center and pool area.

Golf attire and shorts are permitted in the Chuperosa Grille, the Hawk's Nest Bar, and outdoor dining terraces, except at special events which require more formal attire. Golf attire and shorts are not permitted in the Governors Room, Library, and Living Room after 6:00pm, except for special events or meals following golf events.

Gentlemen: Collared or mock turtleneck shirts are required for men; no T-shirts. Hats may not be worn in the Clubhouse at any time and may not be worn on the terraces after 6:00p.m.

Dress at Lakehouse and Golf Shop

Golf attire and neatly tailored activewear, exercise and tennis apparel of a tasteful style and in good condition are permitted. Pool attire and swim cover-ups are not permitted.

Dress on the Golf Course

Only golf shoes or other approved shoes shall be worn on the golf course and practice areas. Metal spikes are not allowed on the golf course or Club facilities at any time.

Proper golf attire is required for all golfers when on the golf course, practice facilities and Trophy Holes. This includes collared shirts and mock turtlenecks for men and shirts that have sleeves or a collar for women. If a woman's top is sleeveless, it must have a collar.

Men's and women's Bermuda length shorts, skirts and/or skorts (no more than mid-thigh) as well as Capri pants are considered proper attire. T-shirts, tank tops, denim clothing of any color, cutoffs, short-shorts, sweatpants, tennis or other athletic shorts, bathing suits, or other attire deemed inappropriate by the Director of Golf are not permitted.

Discreet and brief mobile phone calls are permitted on Club property with the following exceptions: all building interiors, dining terraces, pool, tennis courts, golf and golf practice facilities. You may, however, talk on your cell phone in the Locker Room phone booths and Lakehouse restrooms. Phones must be on silent or vibrate as to not disturb your fellow members.

The Club allows the use of handheld devices for non-verbal (silent) texting, emailing and Internet access anywhere on Club property.

Golfers are asked to carry a cell phone should an emergency call be needed while on the golf course.

The Reserve is a dog friendly community and offers many opportunities for dogs to exercise. While enjoying the community with your pets, please be mindful of the following:

  • When traveling to and from the Dog Park over Club property, dogs must remain in carts.
  • For the safety of the pet, members and residents, dogs must remain on a leash except at the Dog Park.
  • Dogs must never be left unattended on Club property.
  • Dogs are not permitted on the Club's premises during operating hours and are not permitted to run at large on Club grounds or at the Clubhouse.

Members and guests may not post any content, behavior, photos or videos of fellow members on their social media sites identifying the event or activity occurred at the Club.

The publication for commercial purposes of any pictures or videos taken on the Club's property identifying The Reserve Club is not permitted unless approved by Club Management.

Any written references to The Reserve Club, its members, activities, policies, rules, and bylaws that are or might become accessible by the public is not permitted.

Use of the Club Logo, Club name and trademarks is not permitted.

Smoking is not permitted in any of the Club's facilities or dining areas, including outdoor patios, except that smoking may be permitted in areas so designated by the Board.

There will be no cash tipping allowed for "outside services" (bag drop service, auto valet service from the bag drop, practice range services, golf club cleaning, etc.) or for services in the Ladies' and Men's Locker Rooms or Club dining areas. Clubhouse valet parkers (for cars parked at the main entrance in the evening) may accept cash gratuities.
